Peoples State Bank to Join Community Financial Insurance Center as Newest Affiliate Bank

MONROE, La. - Community Financial Insurance Center today announced that The Peoples State Bank is now an Affiliate Member Bank. Please join us in welcoming The Peoples State Bank as the newest member of the Community Financial Insurance team. 

Peoples State Bank, a privately owned corporation, was founded in 1913. Its main operation is in Many, LA and it has locations throughout Western Louisiana and East Texas. The bank was founded on foresight, grown on faith and flourishes with progressiveness. High quality customer service is the true mission of the bank and its most important asset is its customers. The bank’s vision is that every customer will bank with them for life and bring their children and grandchildren.

Community Financial Insurance Center, LLC, a Louisiana-based insurance agency, is owned by 44 community banks located throughout the state and is the affiliated agency of the Louisiana Bankers Association.  It was organized upon the concept of pooling funds in order to acquire insurance agencies for the purpose of providing affordable insurance products to their community bank customers.  The first acquisition of Community Financial Insurance Center, LLC, in January 2005 was Troy & Nichols Insurance Agency, Inc. d/b/a Troy & Montgomery Insurance, one of the largest independent insurance agencies in north Louisiana, having a history of over 100 years. Community Financial also acquired Bogan & Formeller, Inc. of Baton Rouge in July 2005 and Fred Morgan Insurance Agency of Rayville in August 2008.
